There will definitely be 3P upgrades for a CW Bruticus, also there is a rumored CW Legends Shockwave to re-enact the Revenge of Bruticus scene.
No idea how he's going to look, though. I assume Onslaught will be based off Hot Spot's vehicle mode front end with a different set up for the back.

Wait for the CW reveal first. Right now I'm using ROTF Bruticus Maximus with the FP kit but its age is showing and the Energon molds leave something to be desired. I don't like Warbotron Bruticus at all. Greebletron is more like it.

Combiner Wars Combaticons are coming, and they will look pretty good.
Warbotron is nice, but it is huge. Like most figures that big they do come with flaws.
Personally, my favorite is the Kayaba gum kit. ha ha I know, it's weird.

Yeah I'm sure the CW Combaticons will be be great, it seems like they'll retool Hotspot into onslaught. Which is awesome as CW Hotspot looks amazing.

I actually sold my Bruticus Maximus and FP kit last December in the hopes of a CW Bruticus. It was a great set for the most part, but it would never have scaled well with the CW combiners, and individually, they never looked like a cohesive group because of the aesthetic differences between Hasbro and FP.
So, yeah, I'd totally wait and see what Hasbro has up their sleeve!

I'm in the same boat, I think I'll wait too, I don't think CW will fit in with the aesthetics of the other 3P's which I have , but I am waiting anyway.
Don't want to give my money to warbotron yet. I wonder if we will see another 3rdP offering ?

This is a better mold with either of the add on's yes, but it fits in the FOC style more.
