Is it disappointing? It's Hasbro. Platinum pricing for their Platinum line is already a disappointment.
You can buy the clear Optimus for 179.00 or go to Big B and get RID Scourge for 80

At least it's not a Target Exclusive as some people feared. So it will probably be $89.99-$99.99 here then. Can't wait.

Hopefully TRU is learning a lesson from all the overpriced Platinum Editions and MP Bluestreak that are warming shelves and collecting dust. You overreached this time, guys. Scale the price back by 25-30% and we'll talk.

Curious.... does anyone know if the old 3rd party TFC-003 Coronation Set will fit this Starscream? I don't remember which version of the mold this set was designed to fit. That could be an option for those that were hoping for a cape and crown with this Hasbro release.
