Re: transformer budgeting

The bottom line is: There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Thats true. So you just have to stop eating... priorities, right?

Predahank has said before he's a stay at home dad and if you look at the pics of his mancave in Vancouver, it's obvious after hearing he's spent 20K in only half the year, someone is very wealthy.

Wasn't the point of this thread to state your TF budget? Saying "I spent XX dollars this year on TFs" means "I don't have a budget for my TFs".

It's all good; I don't budget either. The money is always there whenever something I want to buy gets released. That's part of the problem of creating an effective TF budget, especially if you collect MPs. Pre-orders makes it even more difficult to track effectively, because you're guaranteed to blow your budget at some point depending on release dates. How many did we have in a row over the last six months?...I'm not even sure anymore.

And who are we kidding?...if you're collecting MPs (or even main line products, if you collect them in large numbers), you mean to tell me you're going to pass up on a pre-order because you're 'over your budget'? It just doesn't work that way Passing up a pre-order just means you'll overpay in the future for the same item.
