How rare is Rotorstorm?

I've just come across a Rotorstorm. End of G1, wicked colours.

How rare is this figure? My understanding is that it was European only, but did it flood the market? Thanks!

Re: How rare is Rotorstorm?

Ironically, he's less rare in Canada than in the US, since the turbomasters did see limited release here. He's probably not the most common of figures, but rotorstorm and stalker are two of the more common ones from that line, I would say. Still, not something you find every day, especially in good condition.

Thanks Aernaroth, I just picked him and Stalker up. They are complete and in good condition. No rub signs on these figures though. Was that common for the end of G1?

If you want to sell him, put him on ebay. Locally the "UK Exclusives" are not that hard to find.

Re: How rare is Rotorstorm?

He's a nice figure, and I figured with LSotW there maybe renewed interest in the figure. Also, I thought he could be on the rare side. Guess not so much.

Thanks for all your help!

I like him. He holds up well as a G1 against Tomahawk.

He's a really nice figure.
I've currently lost my camera but I'll take some pics if it ever turns up again.

He was repaintd for machine wars less the spring loaded launchers(like all of the machine wars takes the fun out of the toy) I beleive as sandstorm with a green/tan paint with U.S. airforce stars/bars decal on sides.

Got him in a huge garage sale score once, sold him to my friend, a fellow collector, for $1 as I wasn't interested in him. lol
