POTP Volcanicus “The Beast”

Upon the initial release I can’t say how disappointed I was with the pics be it promotional or in hand. I understand we only get 1 titan class per year but if you are going to have the Dinobots combine and their main adversaries were either the Constructicons or the Predacons then you can’t have the Dinobots combine into something nicknamed “The Beast” and only have him come to half the height of his Titan adversaries. That just turns the Beast into “The Joke” because that scale just isn’t working.

I did take 1 shot of them just for fun but you will see that tomorrow. If I was dead set on keeping Volcanicus I would for sure opt into the other upgrade set that came with the sword and gold knuckles as it does wonders for the torso. The set just came with the Perfect Effect PC-21 hand and feet and you would hope the PE would have improved those things after all this time. Hasbro combiners are already a PITA to hold a pose but now with PE you also have feet the will split apart by sneezing. Anyway, it was an interesting idea but just not for me. Also, I had to borrow PE Leonidas sword for the pic as I couldn’t think of a suitable weapon from my collection.

Shot 6/21/2020.

Cool Re: 2020 post your transformer photos here.

Dinobot group shots make for great photographic art, and these ones - separate or combined - are no exception. Considering the four-part story I wrote last month, I'm almost thinking about borrowing inspiration from the last photo in your post for "The Primeval Dungeon II: The Rematch!"

Exceptional work as always.

The Transform Dream Wave kit for Volcanicus fixed a lot of his skinny limbs and small abdomen issues (the picture is from Google). I agree though, this needed to be a Titan class set. Great pictures by the way.

I agree complexly and if they did that set for the Black Mamba Dinos I would consider it but I'm still not a fan of Dinobots combining. If the set was big enough I would probably forget the fact in them being individuals so POTP Predaking would have a toy rival so to speak and thank you very much.

Sharp work with this figure, and I really like the background for this one. What's it from, if I may ask?
