Netflix BB -> still people looking?

Now that the WorldsCollide set has come & gone, as well as Origins BB still floating around

How many people are still actively seeking the Netflix wave 2 deluxe Bumblebee?

Is it a past fad now? I know many people decried it for ER CJ mold's partsforming, and the strange clear plastic tolerance thing around his collarbone

WC set gave us all a bright, playable BB that doesn't have the collarbone tolerance issue, Origins gave us the "cybertronian" version and BB's actual peashooter

How many are still hung up on missing out on the Volkswagen?

I was disappointed to miss it and I really don't like origins BB.
But I take comfort in knowing a better version is probably being designed and will be widely released.

Re: Netflix BB -> still people looking?

Passed on him when I found 2 at Walmart one morning when he first came out (thought the yellow was too dark), then regretted passing on him for the past year, found a seller on Ebay who was selling them for $60 shipped, glad I have him now, especially after hearing the Hasbro exclusive rights to molds thing about Netflix Soundwave. Tried to have Origins Bumblebee take his place but got tired of the clunky looking mold quickly, now enjoying him in his cybertronian car mode, reminds me of episode 1 of the G1 series.

Re: Netflix BB -> still people looking?

Honestly, I don't think about at all. If I can find one for a good price, maybe I'll pick it up. But bigger and better is always on the horizon, and even if it isn't, I'll trip over one down the road. I always do.

I really don't care anymore. I'm not playing their stupid games. If I find it, I find it. If I don't, I don't. I'll purchase on my terms. Otherwise, fuck the corporations.

Re: Netflix BB -> still people looking?

I managed to grab two, the second was sheer luck and I jumped on him as a backup, as that tolerance is crazy scary and I fear breakage on my first one. I may file the parts down a bit to try and prevent possible eventual breakage, but knowing how rare this guy is, it's scary to do anything to it.

The first one was a race with time to get, so even before he was officially very hard to get, I didn't want to chance it.

I do love the VW mode as they nailed that. The robot is a little "fat" but it still works. Considering that they have not done a mainline VW as far as I can remember, he was a must have.

Origin BB was one figure that I seriously didn't want to miss and ended up spending a bit more to get it prior to when it finally showed in stores.

I will always feel like Origin BB was the version that should have been released with Siege, and he's a great version.

Unless one wants a VW BB, Origin BB is a fine figure that fits the robot spot quite fine.

My biggest peeve with both is the amount of clear plastic painted over, as my Origin somehow managed t get a small scratch already, and under some light, the difference in colours between the parts is really bad, not Sunstreaker bad, but very annoying.

Re: Netflix BB -> still people looking?

Probably easier, and cheaper, to find the masterpiece version.
The first MP version... not the V2.0 overpriced mess.
And, if you find it, it comes with a nice little Exo Suit figure.
Personally, I have the KBB oversized version, and it's great, with the diecast metal parts and such.
