Just In Case?

I've been wondering, would it be worth it to purchase the Crossfire sets now in case I were to find a Bruticus in the future? I know that the CF sets will be limited in numbers and I don't want to find a Bruticus in the next year or so just to realize I can't upgrade him because the sets are sold out.

So my question is; Should I purchase the Crossfire sets in case I find a Bruticus in the future?

Yes. The ROTF set is not at Zellers around your place? You could just ebay the limbs you need (don't know what ebay prices are, but shouldn't be too bad), if you don't care about the colours.

I wouldn't expect it to be, but i'll try in the near future. I don't trust eBay at ALL.

Yeah, I think if you really like the kit, get it now. It'll be a lot harder to find in the long run. If you're not picky about the colors, you can get the Energon Barricade/Onslaught for a decent price on ebay, and I suspect maybe in the near future some of those limbs that get replace by the kit may end up there as well.

Ebay as safe enough as long as you're careful. Pay attention to customer comments and ask the seller questions about shipping etc, and you'll get a feel if you can trust them or not.

Or you can post up a want thread in the B/S/T section on this board.

Any ways, just my 2 cents.

Re: Just In Case?

find someone here who lives in Halifax, NS. The micmac mall Zellers still has 8 bruticus packs left for $47.98.
I can 100% confirm this as i was there not 4 days ago.

i would do it, but won't be back in town untill the 17th.

Re: Just In Case?

Any 3rd party figure regardless of origin should be bought on a more "now then later" mentality. Cause when they are gone, THEY ARE GONE.

Re: Just In Case?

Get it now if you really want one. At least you got a very nice "Swindle" and "Blast Off", for now.

Re: Just In Case?

I heard that the Bruticus set is still available at the Zellers in Burlington. I would definitely get the FP Add-ons. They will be easy to sell down the road even if you don't want to keep them.
