Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
Automaton sells Rodimus with a dented bubble for $40 under their not mint great deals section.
If you still don't have an answer by tomorrow I'll pull mine out of storage to check for you.

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
Any indications of KO's from the seller's feedback?
If not, it's time to do so now.

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
It may not be a KO, weren't these released in mass retail in Asia? Perhaps you just got one of those instead of the SDCC Rodimus

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
All those SDCC alternators are always difficult to transformer. The SDCC Nemesis Prime was also impossible to transform properly with out use of tools. They are always put together too tight.

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
The different fonts make me think KO, but I am no expert on the subject. Have you contacted the seller and asked them?

Exactly. It's legit, there's no KO Rodimus. They just did a slight running change on the box, that's it.

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
Could very well be a KO man. I did some ebay researching and dude sold like 8-10 of those Rodimus figures all with free shipping. Seems to good to be true. Then I noticed his 1 negative feedback was about a KO coat he passed off as a real one. Also in his auctions for MP Prime repro stacks he is claiming they are made by Takara.
Now here is a thread over at TFW which discusses this KO Rodimus and it has the different font on the package like yours does. Read the thread and you decide man, but I am leaning to KO, a pretty damn good one at that which is really scary.
