Now here is a thread over at TFW which discusses this KO Rodimus and it has the different font on the package like yours does. Read the thread and you decide man, but I am leaning to KO, a pretty damn good one at that which is really scary.

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
I'll definitely get mine out of storage to check it over and see if I can help. Unfortuately its still MISB so I can't check the joints. I got it AGES ago when they were initially released and sold on Kooltoyz, so I'm 99.9% sure its not a KO.
If yours is a KO, I'm really sorry to hear about that...

Wow... that is some scary info on the KO. It is very well done. I have nothing against KO's, but when it is that difficult to tell them from the original, that is just not right.

Then which would be the more desirable product? The better made, or the official one? I'm confused.

Re: Question about SDCC Rodimus Alternator
Update! Alright guys, I bought one of the SDCC Rodimus' from this shady HK guy, I will give the side by side with my SDCC Rodimus I got from Dark Rage who I know didn't try to swindle me back in TFcon 2008 =P. Anyhow from the photos I have seen those paint apps do look a little off and the packaging font makes be puzzled.... I love buying bootlegs of Hot Rod but this is the first time I see this much effort put into an exclusive..... I hope it's fake for me (cause I love this shit)...... but I hope it's real for your own sake ^_^'''
