Re: Hi, New to collecting with my son and need some help
Ya those types of Transformers pictured above are not worth much. The only ones that have considerable value would be original G1's & it has to be in really good condition, complete, packaging included & also depends on the figure. My advice - hold on to them & enjoy them for some father-son bonding time or like others here suggested, donate them to a toy drive @ Christmas. Too many people take the fun out of collectibles by always thinking they might one day be holy grails, while the real excitement & fun is in the toys simplicity & play value. Good luck on whatever you do with them though.

oh for sure, the thing with these is that they don't like em. not big into cars and stuff unless they're combiners so figured maybe I could trade em towards stuff they would like.
idk about holy grails but right now My youngest son has been bugging me for a magnaboss and tripredicus for ages as well as a polar claw so those are like the top of the christmas list lol

This. I used to get many sealed bots when buying lots and many have gone to my kids' school Christmas toy drive and gifts at birthday parties in the pre-COVID days.

Laz, will you be at TFcon, the transformers convention in mississauga dec 11th and 12th?
You'll probably find them there!
also post in the Wanted section that you're looking for those figures for your kids. Sometimes you'll get an amazing board member willing to help you out. I know it has happened to me
Good luck and welcome to the boards!
