So just got back from a week in California and let me tell you...there was slim pick-ins.
I had 2 main goals for toy hunting:
1. Find Blitzwing 2. Find Animated Ultra Magnus.
After hitting 3 Targets, 1 Walmart and 1 Toys R Us I was only able to find 1 Universe Galvatron, 1 universe Silverbolt and a Activators Ratchet. Yes this is a great haul in itself, but not really what I was hoping for. No Blitzwing, No magnus... If you needed a Voyager Megatron, or 50, you would be in luck...
My hope was restored after a trip to Sea World in San Diego. Sure the target sucked...agian, but the Toys R Us gave me something to smile about on the way home on the I-5: Swoop and Sentinel Prime. I was still shocked to not to complete my goals though. Who knew that Bliztwing would be so hard to find.
The Next day we went to Universal Studios. If you get a chance to go, check out the out door mall by the entrance. There is a little toy/comic store that I was able to find My Blitzwing and a Joe figure that has been eluding me for some time. Sure i spent more, but it was worth it as it would be the same cost in Canada.
Of note I also picked up a Lego version of Indy on a keychain, The Optimus Activator and a Joe two pack that was on sale.
Over all it was a great trip; Disney was great as always, Sea World blew my mind and Universal was also worth the crazy LA traffic.
