Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
Just as good as it was years ago, and I appreciate it even more now that I'm older. It's one of those shows I can watch the series of every other year or so and not get tired of it.
And ReBoot was also awesome! They need to release the whole thing on DVD!

Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
It isn't because I grew up with it that I say it had some of the best written segments of Transformers history. I remember being thrown off by the show at first because it was Transformers but... not.
THe writing is on par with Animated and is a little bit more cohesive even considering the same marketing decisions Hasbro has been prone to for years.

Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
Pretty damn well, considering Dinobot got voted to the HOF when just about everyone (including myself) thought Soundwave was a shoo-in.
Curse you ballot-stuffing non-Geewunners!!

Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
It's aged very beautifully. It's almost fifteen years since the series began and it still holds up to this very day.I remember introducing the series to friends of mine during it's 10th anniversary, and they've been casual fans of it ever since.
In my view,I think the more Beast Wars/Machines age,the better it becomes.I was only six when it began and I was fascinated by the animation, but when it came back when I was fifteen,I fell in love with the storyline, the character development, the little moments in between, which, all in all,got me into the overall Fandom.Hopefully,if I ever wish to see it again, say,on it's 20th anniversary,I bet it will amaze me again with something else that I haven't noticed before.Love the series and all the folks that worked on that series.Wish to meet them all someday.

Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
I would say that it has aged pretty well. Still one of the best TV series that has come out.

Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
Aged much better than G1.
As much as I love Transformers, I find it almost painful to try and sit through most G1 episodes. There are some exceptions like "The Return of Optimus Prime" and "Five Faces of Darkness" but most are pretty bad.
Cheers!

It's aged so well I just finished re-watching the whole series a few months ago.

I loved EVERY single nominee choice for the HOF and any one of them winning would have been fine with me. Overall it feels a bit more special that Dinobot won. Soundwave, Shockwave, Grimlock and Jazz have always been favorites of mine. They have a "COOL" feature about them that made them awsome but I felt Dinobot had a LOT more character developed into him, mainly because BW did take the effort to make you care for at least 90% of the cast.
I'm actually REALY proud that Dinobot won. He was up against some high-calibre G1 characters. Dinobots nomination as a contender in general was a surprise to me.
It just goes to show how much of an impact Dinobot and the writing staff and those that worked on BW had.

Re: Beast Wars-How has it aged?
We ought to make sure Waspinator gets into the Hall of Fame. Lord knows he deserves it after getting scrapped and slagged so many times.
