I searched AD-02. Maybe that's why it didn't come up this morning, I searched Optimus Prime. You would think it would come up still, but maybe not... anyway, 4500 Yen, about $48. Not sure if that was a preorder price or just the standard.

I'm going to Fanexpo on the Saturday. Friday it's just open for a few hours, it looks like. Then again, every time I go to Fanexpo I kinda just wander around for a few hours, and then leave, as there's not much to do if you're not standing in line to get a super-expensive autograph, or buying tons of stuff.

Anyone collect/want Lord of the Rings figures (movies)? An acquaintance of mine is looking to offload his collection, mostly first runs, MOSC. I can get more details if anyone is interested.

Keep your eyes out. HLJ usually will reopen preorder once they secure more order. The stop order mostly because their initial orders with Takara are filled.

I have a feeling that retailers (including the Japanese) are careful with AOE toys since DOTM toys were not exactly hot cakes.

There's also Mandarake...it's hit and miss but often has some good deals. Watch out though, that site has a whole lot of plastic porno in addition to the more conventional items.
