That fix is simple, but there is a more serious problem that's harder to fix. The forward/backward ratchet joints within the pelvis are bunk. There's no give so the gears get stripped. My Heavy Labor has stripped gears on both legs. Moving them forward the ratchets are fine. In the other direction, they don't bite anymore and there's a screeching squeak instead of the ratcheting sound. He still stands firmly, but the worry is when combined, will the hips still hold with stripped gears.
TFC just emailed me for my address so they can mail me replacement parts. I just hope they are of a new material so the same thing doesn't happen again.
I'm still on board the Hercules train despite the problems: TFC has proven that they listen and are trying to make everything right. I've got Crank and Structor pre-ordered and paid for with Robotkingdom and I am keeping those orders with full confidence in the figs yet to be released. Even if they have their own QC issues, TFC will fix them.
