this x2
but i used to go to more extremes by literally cutting out and around the character art, getting rid of all excess space without artwork or bios on the cards/boxes.
times have changed though, too busy now so i just cut the tape, flatten the boxes and then jam them into tupperware bins.
all inside bubbles or extra cardboard goes into the blue bin.
if it's an oldie i was saving for a rainy day opening,i keep the plastic ties as they're good for hanging bot parts off of for painting.
instructions all go into sandwich bags, which are usually rotaed on a monthly basis, depending on how many figs i p/u a month.
at the end of the year i go through all twelve bags and seperate the instructions again, but into giant ziplocks, ach one being line specific.(g1/classics/bw/etc)
tie in and crosssell pamphlets have their own giant ziplock bag too.
