Re: Seriously? Transformer protection plan?
It was interesting when I went to get my ROTF stuff.
There I was with 250 bucks worth, and they asked the person in front of me at the register but not me.
(Unless they know from experience that person with his hands full of TFs = collector, and collectors don't buy into that crap)

Re: Seriously? Transformer protection plan?
What the FFFFFUUUUUDDDDGGGEEE?
A protection plan?
Here is my plan if one of my Transformers breaks. Call Hasbro, send the toy to them, receive another toy at equal or grater value. Sure this will not guarantee getting the same figure, but neither is the TRU warranty, plus my way is free.

Re: Seriously? Transformer protection plan?
If my toy breaks, it's my fault and I don't need them to reimburse me. If you can't keep something in working or usable condition, maybe you shouldn't have it. I realize these are children's toys, but this is just dumb. Plus, if people actually start using this en masse, they're only going to lose a ton of profit from handing out replacements.

makes sense for bigger items ($300 plus) but for a $15 and all I do is display the figs, no thank-you

More like they both took notes from large electronics dealers, who figured out that "insurance" is basically a form of gambling where they get to be the house.

Re: Seriously? Transformer protection plan?
That question has been asked from a Toy's R Us employee to me a few months ago....I am like...if my Transformers have problems, I will bring it back with a receipt anyways to get it exchange. So "NO" don't get it.

Ooh, I wouldn't mind some fries with my transformers! Or a Mega sized popcorn! Mmm...questionable store-bought popcorn. *drools*
