Yes, that's what is weird with the problem: not everyone is having the warning. My own computer if fully protected and when I'm visiting Automaton, I get no warning.

We will try to figure out tomorrow morning, once and for all, what the problem is and the source from wich it emanates.

Thanks for your patience and support,
Mario

Hey Mario,

If they tell you it's a scripting thing, don't accept it. Scripts don't throw trojen warnings. Ever!

Re: Problems with Automaton Website (Virus?)

Well its been happening the past few weeks on and off for me when I visit the site. When I use Safari on a Mac is would load very slowly and I would have to close the tab and sometimes it would give me a warning that the site is infected. There are no problems noted when I check it with Goggles safe browsing: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.c...omatontoys.com

When I'm on my PC using Firefox 2.5 I notice that sometimes when I visit the site it would load Acrobat (like I'm viewin a pdf in my browser) and one time it downloaded some temp file and my A/V caught it: http://www.symantec.com/security_res...062316-3633-99

Re: Problems with Automaton Website (Virus?)

Ah yes, looks like there is something trying to use a bug in adobe software, overflowing the buffer allows instructions to be written to memory and executed without permission, these instructions being, "download and execute this trojan"

I beleive if you update your adobe reader and flash player to the latest versions you should be relatively safe, if that is actually whats happining. Of course it could be a combination of things.

But last time I went to the site everything seemed fine. I thought it had been fixed. *shrugs*

Edit: Just tried the site again, no errors, no antivirus warnings...
oh shoot... I always got adobe error last few week, while opening its site/ I assumed I didnt update the adobe or someting
