Hmm, looks like the dollar is on an upward trend again, I wonder if I should take my chances and hold off on my US purchases for awhile.

Edit: Eh, maybe not. Even it gets back up around 0.88 eventually I'd only be saving about $8 on the item I'm after.

Damn it. I finally got a delivery notice card which I assume is my BBTS shipment (finally), but it looks like I got dinged for duty again ($23 booooo). I think my order value was about $108 US. I can't believe my last 3 BBTS orders have been hit with duty. I guess I won't be ordering from them for a while. Or at least I'll have to keep my shipments under $100. I understand being hit on the $200+ order, but at a $100...sucks balls. And on top of it the shipment is way late (I assume because it was stuck at Customs).

Sigh. Ok, rant over. :P Back to your scheduled program

It's the only other shipment I'm expecting that would get hit by duty so I assume it's my BBTS shipment. I guess at least I'll finally have my Arcee and Chromia

Since Bob mentioned Brainstorm in the sightings thread...

I hate to be a dick since a lot of people don't have the figure yet, but I feel like they could have done a better job on Brainstorm. He looks really cool in robot mode, but he's got a bad case of 'robot doing yoga' in vehicle mode. I know the G1 toy is like that but at least it was blocky enough that the arms look like engines. For the new one they could have done a better job of integrating or hiding the arms and feet.

I still kinda want it. I am glad I still have my FP Smartrobin though.

I never got any of the 3rd Party Brainstorms, so I'm glad I have an updated Brainstorm. But few things bug me more than annoying design decisions on an almost perfect figure. Like Chromia's backpack. Had they given a couple of the joints just a tiny bit more movement, the backpack could have folded up a lot more neatly.

Typical TF fan, eh? Complaining about all the awesome figures we're getting.
