Got my reissue Blaster today, very fancy packaging.

Wingblade Prime is a bit disappointing. The armor looks okay but doesn't do much. The Prime itself feels a bit floppy (and the waist doesn't really want to lock in). In vehicle mode, the cannons like to pop off when you look at them wrong, it's annoying. Bumblebee is a cool little figure, the armor is a fun bonus. I kinda like the idea of metallic paint, it works in a power up context. I wouldn't like it on my regular Animated figures though.

Have yet to open the sure-to-be-awesome GX-55, doing it in a few minutes.

Bad News Folks... Looks like I didn't get the job I interviewed for.

But at least the interviewer was kind enough to e-mail a quick message to let me know that the position was filled by someone else. So that's a plus, usually they don't bother with that. I must have impressed her enough to at least be given that courtesy now that I think about it.

And so this isn't just about not getting something I really wanted...

What I'll normally do is politely ask why you didn't get it and what it was the other candidate did/has better than you so you can work on that for the future.

They didn't go into that level of detail I'm afraid. They just told me that the position was filled by another person.

So unless she's willing to tell me exactly why I was looked over there isn't much I can do to modify my game plan. And I'm not entirely comfortable contacting this person to ask what my failing was, I strongly suspect it could be due to the large gap since my last held position. (It's been three years now going on four.) *SIGH*
