I think the TP will be the easiest and cheapest way to get a hold of physical issues, as tracking down each individual pair will probably be a pain.
And either way, at least you support the comics by buying something, rather than just downloading everything for free. Please note I'm not being critical, as I have certainly helped myself to comics, music, and videos from the internet. But I don't balk at buying almost everything the IDW transformers team puts out, and even if I don't enjoy an issue as much as I had hoped, I still want to be reading the comics at issue 100 of both series.
