It IS the real price... not an error. I verified this with customer service when I requested the rain checks. I suppose I could understand incidents of miscommunication and some locations refusing to mark it down. For example, some Target US locations refused to sell the TMNT lair for $14.99 last month, when it was marked down from $99.99. It was a legit sale but there were plenty of complaints regarding stores refusing to allow it. Thank goodness for Amazon price matching.

Walmarts in Ottawa are more co-operative than here in Niagara. Two different stores told me they would only give rainchecks if the items are in the flyer and when I gave them the UPC they said it was "Non-Replenishable".

Typically, no... their rules have changed and now they only price match for televisions and other big cost items. BUT I had submitted a request via email, explaining the situation and received a reply that they would make a one time exception... and they did! Little did they know that the sale I was referring to was at Target stores in the US... must've left that part out in my original email.

Picked up another for my son. Early Xmas for him.
