That's what most tattoos end up looking like. Bad. My girlfriend has tattoos: a shamrock, some wierd circular design thing, and some writing on each foot. I can't remember what the writing said. Something lame like love life or something stupid like that. That's my girlfriend for you. If I were ever to get a tattoo, it would be of the number 3. Favorite number. obviously.

Here's the golden rule of thumb for tattoos:

If you think it's a cool/good idea, sit on it/wait it out for a year.

If after a year, you still think it's cool/good idea - go for it.

If not, you made the right choice by waiting.

I'm currently have plans for another, just have to find the time/artist to get it done.

I like that train of reasoning. Never really thought of it that way.

I personally don't have any tattoos. My cousins and I did kind of consider it at one point. Mainly, it's because: my paternal grandparents have 10 grandkids (myself included), and all 10 of us are guys (which makes for lots of crazy talk at family gatherings). As kids, we were all associated with our "number" or "rank" (the oldest was #1, the youngest was #10; I'm #4). Anyhow, most of us thought that it'd be really cool if all ten of us got our number tattooed somewhere. It didn't end up happening, primarily because it wouldn't have the same meaning/power if NOT all of us got it, and a few of us were really not wanting a tattoo.

Oh well.

myself,only on my back.a tiger coming transcending a mountain to the earth,along with chinese caligraphy that says "only the strongest survive", or KEUNG JEH SUNG CHUEN.
the tat has alot of personal meaning to me,the tiger to remind me to not be stupid anymore and there's no easy way in life,and the caligraphy to remind myself where i came from and where i am now and to be happy with myself now.
it stretches across my back,but not enough where i cant wear a wife beater and have it showing.
main draw back is because it was done during a "forced vacation",the white ink used was inferior,fading almost completely,so it started as a white tiger,now it's a yellow tiger

the key is to put the tattoo in a place that wont sag badly.

Right now no Tat's just yet.

However I'm doing like Cheers Ian said sitting on an idea for a year or more before I commit to the process.

The idea is:
One larger sea turtle in Hawaiian trible style with smaller sea turtles in tow...one for each kid.
Placement:
Left or right inner forearm.

What can I say I love Hawaii and my kids.

If I get brave maybe an autobot logo....but probably not.
