Lmao, indeed, that's the line they say for offering less for more. The rankest bullshit I have ever heard, lol. Their lower sales are beginning to tell the story. Let's see what happens over the next few quarters but this is nothing more than a line, we surely all know that, but they are sure trying to cram it down people's throats. Surely humanity is smarter than to fall for this nonsense though, hopefully.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Except that has always been the case. Cybertron Metroplex (the original) was literally an experiment in how large you could make a mid-price class by keeping the part-count down.
You do realize more parts = more labour right? But naw, it's all the dummies fault.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Hasbro also doesn't really advertise this design fact, it's all the design team. It's not like they have a reason to bullshit us anyways, they still get paid the same and we still buy product... It's clear they like Transformers as much as we do and they're doing their best to put out a good product with Hasbro's limitations. Legacy sales have exceeded previous lines anyways, it ain't going nowhere.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Re: size classes - yeah, figures have gotten smaller but you can't really say they've become less complex. Sure they have hollow gaps now and lack paint apps sometimes, but the engineering has gotten better in recent years compared to the Prime Wars era. We've received some pretty amazing figures with a lot of detail, engineering and accuracy, and price increases were somewhat necessary to provide that. Commander class has allowed them to offer figures at a level they were never really able to before. The only thing that is going to kill sales is the constantly increasing prices. At some point a lot of people are going to get priced out of collecting. And I'm not really sure what parent is going to buy Transformers for their kid when they can get something else likely for cheaper.
Anyways, back on topic I guess. With all the Wrecker figures showing up lately, are we still going to be waiting long for the Leadfoot set?

The empty space is perfect for storing the rest of the Stunticon limbs though.
Incidentally, my reorder of Motormaster arrived today.

Just cancelled my Amazon preorder for Motormouth.
Need to stick to my plan of refining my collecting habits.
Decided I wouldn't really miss him if I didn't have him.

I feel yah. I am finishing Menasaur, getting the remainder of the main Beast Wars, then a few random bots like Bee movie Arcee and Ironhide.
Just can't do $45 a deluxe and $55 a voyager as we know Gamestop and Walmart will eventually move to Toyrus prices.

Not mine, still just says "we'll let you know".
More frustrating is that the in-stock Motormaster I ordered from Gamestop on Tueaday hasn't shipped yet either.
The universe really doesn't want me to have this guy....
