I totally get that bro. Most of what the government is saying is just a plan, so nothing is set in stone. They're doing everything as slowly as possible to try not to have a massive influx of cases. I would say give it at least a couple more weeks before non-essential even start opening normally (maybe June).

Not here, not that I am remotely interested in toy hunting now. Nuts to that, all bad enough leaving the house for groceries lol

Pretty sure the only things opening right now, at least in Ontario, are Garden Centres and construction sites. I hope TRU is in an early stage of retail openings, cause Amazon is driving me nuts. Don’t care if I gotta wear a mask and stay poking distance away from other people, I wants my TRU and my EBGames back.
I imagine the first weeks of reopenings are going to be wild. Between sickness spikes, people acting like they’ve been in solitary confinement for years, and stores trying to quickly blow through old inventory to get new stuff on shelves, it’s going to be crazy.

Why are you asking us instead of calling that store?

TRU, and other stores in Manitoba, are legally able to open as of today.
That said none of the chain stores have opened as yet. It is likely going to take time for these stores to prepare, rehire laid off staff and get protective measures in place.
Stores which have opened in Winnipeg for collectors are comic and collectible shops like Galaxy and Cobra Collectibles.
