Anybody owns MMC Knight Morpher Commander?

Hi guys,

I was considering getting MMC-01 Knight Morpher Commander but could not find a review for it. Neither text nor video. Does anybody here own one and can post a review. Or a review from somewhere else is fine too.

I am particularly looking for comments on:
  • General looks in robot mode( i know the pictures look good but how is it in real life, from different angles, his legs look particularly block-ish?)
  • Points of articulation
  • Posability
  • Is it worth the hefty pricetag

I know it's not out yet. But that doesn't mean people can't have it: like frenzy_rumble (unless it's his own custom and not MMC)

The one that is out, and Frenzy_Rumble has, is the model kit version. The full figure version, which will be released soon, is an improved version over the model kit. If you compared KM Commander's price, with Defender, your getting an Ultra class figure, vs a large deluxe figure. Price wise, its very good next to the other 3rd party products.

Master Mind Creation has been updating their site for the last two weeks with wallpapers. I'm guessing their counting down to further updates. Hopefully, new photos.

I have the model kit version as well it's a total piece of crap. Avoid at all costs.

MMC is ultra class?

Hearts of steel was sweet, I hope they follow this up, I generally don't buy anything unless there's a future in the line, but hearts of steel was so good, and this figure 'looks' great. Still holding out for a review on the toy though.

I have the MC wheeljack resin kit, I couldn't imagine an entire kit that quality. You'd have to sand every single part with a bunch of different grit papers

Re: Anybody owns MMC Knight Morpher Commander?

Not only there's a lot of work to do on the resin (sanding, trimming, etc.), but some areas meant to receive screws or pins haven't been molded big enough so they kinda crack or explode when you try inserting something in there.

Ugh that sounds like a nightmare; like trying to nail together two blocks of plaster without having it explode.

It's amazing that F_R can take such a piece of crap and make it look so good

Well, the main figure itself is a Voyager, the same height, or near, as Classics prime. But with the trailer part included, it makes him an Ultra Class, if Hasbro were to release him.

Knight Morpher is sort of a hit or miss figure. He's got the massive shell in the back... basically the entire freaking train is a backpack.

I can't say much more as I don't physically have it, but yeah, there will be a Seibertron.com gallery of Knight Morpher tomorrow, something we've organized together with MMC.
