I find that the plastic used on the FP stuff is pretty good, but not the most durable.
And to me, just because a toy is expensive, doesn't mean it's going to be problem free. Every toy I have expensive or cheap, almost always has some problem with it big or small. Just how it is with manufactured goods, just sucks more when the product is a higher value.
