Not sure if this means the discounted items like BZ above or items that end with a certain number, like 8?

It's not technically new, but is being newly enforced. Basically, Edge discounts are only applicable on the regular full price, so if an item is on sale, you won't be able to use the Edge discount for a further discount. This has always been true, but employees either didn't know, or didn't care (also it didn't help that their sales tags showed the Edge price, too). Anyway, now they're enforcing the policy.
