If we're thinking of the same store in woodbridge (with the animals and the mmc ring and such), I thought it was just called Heroes. Even that might be hard to get to without a car.
Close to the airport, there's Comic Warehouse on Steeles East of Dixie, which is big and carries a huge amount of old stuff (nearly no Transformers though, think a comic shop from like 15 years ago), and the Playdium store, which has all the newest pinball machines and jukeboxes, if that appeals to you (they no longer have the TF Pinball machine on the floor, however).
