The more I think of it, I think it would have been nicer to just make the robot mode a new character instead of Megatron, that way it would be a more uniform design and you could have a Viper...

It's a reissue of the vintage 80's figure.

Overall, I think I would have been ok if they made Megs more black, it's going to be pretty big bot to accommodate 3.75"...

Hmmm.... what to do with Optimus? Maybe x with Whale or Troop Transport?

BTW, to new viewers, they did a X with Snowcat I think in Energon line, many many years ago.

I just picked up mine from store, standard price is $229.xx, so no price hike like TRU.

Not only Hasbro, but also saw some playmates TMNT stuff go up a few bucks
