Customized Siege Seekers: "Blackout" (and more)
 

Siege and Earthrise gave a nice look into the seeker world and its numerous variations on the "model" or bot type, but one stood out for me above the others, a single jet that was black with red markings. I tried to find out if this variant had a name or not, as it first felt like a background character for fodder, but it shows up quite a few times, so I took a second hand Siege Starscream and set to work.

I realize the colors are not that of G1 Blackout, but the stealthy feel of the seeker gave me the impression that if it needed to be named, Blackout would be it. (Hey..its been used for a MH-53 Pave Low, so why not?)

Probably went a little heavy on the weathering but for a first custom, Im happy with it, and gives me three squads of seekers now. :)

Thanks Rob! I ent ahead and gave this custom a battle master to match ("Surge") and I will snap shots when he is all dry to handle.

Looks alot like the unreleased G2 Black Stars cream. Which I''ve always called BlackScream.

Thanks all! Customs are just too much fun. If I can find more second hand Siege Seekers, I will do more, based off what can find in the War For Cybertron series, with a little G1 inspiration mixed in. ;)

Custom Sparkless Seeker, designated POWERDOWN. (Originally Siege Starscream)


Satin finish over mixed arcylics, drab olive green (red/green/black) and rusted weathering (burnt umbra, cinnamon brown and red). I recast a pair of null ray rifles to help fill out the weapons load out, along with re-casts of the tip of SideSwipes blaster to double as concussion bombs that peg into the outside of the legs in robot AND Tetrajet mode. To finish it off, two hand held blasters, recast from TR Sentinel Prime, and a failed casting of a null ray rifle, tip cut and filed.
