Walgreens Exclusive Brainstorm Will NOT Be Sold in Canada
 

I've been seeing a lot of chatter on the boards about Titans Returns Brainstorm the last few weeks, and a lot of it has to do with it's distribution in Canada.

It's not like it used to be with a Target Exclusive showing up at Zellers, since Walgreens has no Canadian counter part.

I decided to e-mail Hasbro to see what they have to say about it. Who know, maybe they had planned on bringing it to retail through another retailer like Winners, or Sears?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look good.

There you have it. If you absolutely must have one, either wait for it to show up at a toy show, hop the boarder, or order online.

He didn't really answer your question, you were already aware it's a Walgreen's exclusive in the USA.

They also apologize for the inconvenience. Which means unless we get a Walgreens in the next few months, Canada won't see a release.

(Of course there's always potential repaints and gift sets that could be released at a different retailer in the future)

when I go to the website and click the Find at a Store button for any TF I receive the response

"There are no Walgreens stores within 25 miles of"

if it's on walgreens website when it comes out, could you not just order and ship to a PO box in the US? Or maybe they offer shipping to Canada.

They say so, but it's shown up at Walmart USA already. Who knows.

I can't say that I've been following it that closely, but that was a one off if I'm not mistaken. Walmart received a case. Not unlike some of the AOE Walmart Exclusives showing up at TRU last year. Kind of a one and done deal.

fyi - i was in the states this past weekend

Went to two walgreens: 0 Brainstorms

They did have some wave 2 deluxes though

Not sure if the brainstorms have been released yet at retail, but as of September 8th/2016 I don't think so.

Anyone know if you can buy one online right now (assuming you have a us addy to ship it to?)

Same here. To me, at least, its a much better looking figure. Plus TR figures all feel cheap to me. Like KO's almost. I actually ended up with 2 Brainstorms do to a mixed up order, but missed out on an Arcee because of it.
