south of the border shopping suggestions
 
i am taking a trip to syracuse, new york at the end of the month for a few days
do any of you south of the border members have any suggestions of where to pick up some cool tf's while i'm there
i'm trying to pick up a few chug items
anyone know when the fe prime figs will be available in the states
does anyone from up here have special requests i may be able to help out with

Hey,

Generally I recommend finding the DCPI codes that target uses for each size/class you're interested in and taking them to Targets in the area you're in. You can enter the #s on one of their price scanners (or have an employee do it) to see if they have more of that type in the back.

That's the main way I have success looking in the US.

And the FE figs are late Fall I believe for US release and might be limited (i.e. TRU only).

hit the town of Cicero before SYR.. has a super walmart and a Super Target across from each other. As well I believe if you go further down the street there is a Marshalls or something, one of those Discount stores like Winners where you can find some gems...

Also forgot to mention, up the road from Cicero, there is another town called CLAY and they have a Toys R Us.

The U.S. equivalent of Winners is TJ Maxx, they're worth checking out as is Meijer. They're like a super Wal-mart or Target. Also if you're at a mall and have the time check out to see they have any local toy stores, kinda like a toys toys toys cause they tend to have hidden gems. I scored a Megatron Megavolt from a mall toy store a few years ago in Michigan which I never saw anyplace else. I think it was a KB toys previously, too bad they're not around anymore.

Make sure you got to customer service (guest services) when you got to Target if it says YES on the price scanner for backroom stock. The floor people are lazy. They will say no. I had an issue with it. The machine said YES. I had a dude who didn't believe me, went to scan the tag and shook his head no. I didn't believe him so I went to the C/S (guest service) desk, she called the backroom guys and they found 44 boxes of what I wanted.

In Niagara Falls/Transit Rd. areas I've never had that happen when I ask floor people, that seems more Walmart style to me so sorry it happened to you.

I've had it happen at the Niagara Falls Walmart (the one behind Chili's.) though she just stared at me without checking and said flat out no.

But the issue I was speaking off happened at the Amherst Target (The new one on Niagara Blvd) But the backroom dude was cool, he brought out a bunch of boxes for us to dig through.
