TFC Dino Combiner

So anyone actually have this thing and is it good? I saw it on eBay and my first thought was pretty cool but need to know about it before I get it. What's the size of this thing? Makes me think of the decepticon Dino combiner japan had.

I don't think it's Maketoys. It was a tfc design but they sold it to another company...that's what I heard anyways.

Also, I think I saw it on ebay for $100. A3U has it for $55 USD.

Oops yeah tfc. But I'm still thinking of snagging him. Anyone actually have him?

I've got him. Love the individual Dinos. Plastic quality is really good! Uses the same combiner ports as other TFC stuff. My one leg has an issue where the foot connects, but quality is otherwise ok.

In combined mode he has an insanely small head...the same head is used for the combiner as the core robot. But he's stalky and the colors blend in really well, one of the most uniform looking combiners ever.

The little alt mode Dino's are great. The swoop-ish dude is my current fave...

Posing and articulation is sort of Energon-era...good, but not Fansproject level. But they feel so solid and playable, and they don't cut my fingers, so I'm fine with this...I find it a breath of fresh air!

I paid $75 including shipping from Tony at Chimungmung and I'm 120% satisfied! Love these guys...

Year of the dinobots indeed. Looks pretty good.

I stumbled on the thread over at TFW by chance the other day and I was intrigued. It didn't take much convincing for me (seriously, it was a single reply by Smog) to put in a preorder.

From what's been reported, the quality of these guys is close to, if not equal to, that of mainline Hasbro. The designs are solid, if not the most sophisticated (I get a 2006 Classics vibe from them). The colours are...interesting, but that can be fixed with some paint and time, and the price is really good.

I'm really excited to get my set and fill a gap in my collection that Hasbro seems unable, or unwilling to.

Oddly enough I found him out from poking around eBay. Even the protectobots of that group look pretty good.

For those prices, these sets are a no-brainer!
Gotta love combiners, and the height is pretty decent.
I'll be picking these up. Thanks for depleting my wallet some more, Vorahk
