RIP fellow Cybertron.ca member Buhawi

I've just been informed that fellow Montreal-based Cybertron.ca member Buhawi (Andre) has just passed away 2 days ago.

From what I'm told, he suddenly collapsed on Jan 10th and was rushed to hospital. Had a ruptured aneurysm/stroke. Was in a coma after surgery. Passed away 2 days ago.

From the user stats, his last post here on Cybertron.ca was on Jan 8, here.

I personally met him through collecting/customizing through this forum, but it turns out that my cousin went to school with him, and kept semi in touch. Small world.

May he rest in peace, and have tons of TFs to play with and customize wherever he's at now.

Really sad news, he was a good guy. Very devastating. The MTL crew is one family member less.

Rip to him and condolences to the family.

This is a real shock. I'm gonna miss him. He was always upbeat, playful, sometimes mischievous... a great guy. I mostly knew him from the hobby, but I always enjoyed chatting with him about toys, customizing, and kungfu movies.

My condolences to his family, and his wife and children (who I've met over the years at various collector gatherings).

This is a huge shock, felt like just weeks ago we were talking about completing all our Dinobot limbs for Power of the Primes and then WAAM....... he's gone.

He was a great guy and fellow HUGE wrestling fan that would always send me great links he would find of Bret Hart and Steve Austin. Also was a regular buyer of my stuff for more then over a decade at our cons.

Still trying to process all of this, so young with a wife and kids.

Man.....

Wow.

RIP.

Gonna miss the fun and interesting posts he's had.

Correct me if I am wrong, is he also "seali_me" on TFW2005?

Yes, I believe that was his name on TFW. I couldn't remember it for the life of me. Thanks for reminding me.

Looks like he last posted on Jan 10th on TFW...

Did you want to post the notice?

I only remember because we used to "chat" a lot on TFW2005's NHL (insert year here) Thread.

Didn't know him personally, but always sad to hear of a life abruptly ending in this way. Godspeed & RIP fellow TF fan.
