The base kit is a Kotobukiya Variable Frame System 01 Garudagear. The head is built from the Kotobukiya MSG Customize Head A kit (sadly discontinued.)

For the swords I just built them according to the instructions with no modifications. I've got another sword with a wider blade that I considered using but decided to stick with the ones the kit came with since the hilts can store in the arms (the blades can't, though.)


The gun was a compromise between using the grey/red colour scheme of Victory Saber's gun and not disrupting the altmode colour scheme any more than necessary. I think this solution, with the back painted blue (so that the middle of the altmode remains a solid blue) but the front stays grey worked reasonably well.

Looks like the custom head kit I used for this is being re-issued. You can also make a decent Starscream-style head with this, although I haven't actually attached that one to anything yet.
