Believe it or not, I see this as a relief. I think the most exciting thing about TFs now are the amount of third party products. If Disney bough Hasbro, then we would have seen Disney's team of lawyers crack down on them big time.

Ultimately, what I would like to see happen is Hasbro (or whoever owns the trademarks) partner with the FansProjects of the world to distribute their designs at volume. I suppose that might be too much to ask for.

See, there's nothing to worry about! It's both good and bad that this is not happening, but mostly good. Awesome news, this takeover is not happening.

Just thinking about what Disney could do to the franchise just scares me.. I don't like change!

Really too bad maybe sometime in the near future it will happen it would have been good for us as we would have actully been able to by the product as Disney really does understand marketing and distrubution,.... Dam!!! gotta live with hasbro's idea of this for now and we all know what a screw up that is.

you guys realize that if any of hasbro or disneys staff who own hasbro stock were caught saying anything about this, they would get a call from the securities commission...

That response from Hasbro just sounds like a legal necessity to me...especially if U-HAS was showing signs of this rumor.
