Is it an actual in-store release? Is it possible someone bought it from Walmart.ca, returned it to a retail location, and it was just put on the shelf?

I'm sure it's possible. It scanned at the till if that means anything.

I don't have an RiD Grimlock in those colours or any Bee, so I'm definitely interested in the set, but hopefully at a lower price. $80 is a bit too much for what it is I think.

Not interested in this set much at all. Maybe if I see it on clearance for $20 I might consider it. Til' then nope.
Looks like another shelf warmer to me. :(

Neway I'd rather spend $80 on a TR Leader & a TR Legend figure. ;)

I picked up this set from Walmart.ca earlier this year. At the time, it seemed worth it considering Takara's version of Grimlock was going for $50 USD. Add another $20 for BB and you're well above the $80 CAD they're asking. That Voyager Grimlock is very nice too, I really quite like the gunmetal grey Hasbro used over the black on the Takara one.

It's the same FOC Grimlock mod, with a BBB everyone hates... I will pick it up only if $15 and lower. Then just give it away as present for child.

No that wouldn't mean anything. Once the return is done it's in their system although sometimes it may have to be updated. What counts is the code on the yellow shelf label. That would give the indication of a regular item vs a "bring it in one time" item

This makes me miss Target all the more. Remember when FOC Grimlock and that crazy super chrome deluxe Prime two pack was $16? How is this $64 more?

Although the mold as animated Grimlock does look pretty swell.z
