Swapped return at Walmart
 

At Walmart Erin Mills and Burnhamthorpe
Someone painted and used marker on what looks combiner wars Voyager and returned it in a Sky Shadow package.
They even put a decepticon logo n the shoulder.
This is sad and pathetic when it happens to a $5 hot wheels car.
But to a $60 toy, I hope it doesn't become a trend.

Wow! That is brutal! I want to say I can't believe someone would do that...but we see it far too often :( Did you bring it to the store's attention? Maybe the person returned the funds to a credit card at least.

Unfortunately this happens way to often, in my area Walmart's in Brampton anyway, i once saw a dollar store wrestling figure in a WWE elite box with a paper photo copy of the belt in the place where the toy belt goes...i don't know how that even passed.
I spoke to a employee once and she seemed surprised called her manager and the manager just told her to put it back on the shelf, crazy.

But i agree i hope this is not going to be the trend, id hate to see a unknowing parent buy this for their child who may or may not know the difference.

I show it to the management every time I see something like this.
I STRONGLY suggest everyone do so, because maybe one of these jerks will get caught in the act someday.

That may be the worst swap I've ever seen.

One WM here has a 'toy-return photo folder' for Marvel Legends. Which the lady stared-at profusely when I returned 1 TF once. Fun times thanks to thieves.

Not even remotely the worst I've seen. I once found a Revenge of the Fallen Voyager-class Fallen with the figure replaced... with a Voyager Transformers Animated Bulkhead.

i appreciate that is a low brow move, but have to admit a grudging respect for the sheer brazen audacity of this swap
