Volcanicus is a special redeco of the Power Of The Primes Dinobots in cartoon accurate colors plus new feet and hands, two Magma swords, and a new extra weapon for Grimlock. This will be a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive 5-pack and pre-orders will be up only from*September 9, 2020 to October 6, 2020. One of those times Takara was like, "Sorry Hasbro, screw the shared design policy, we're redoing this our way."

Good for whoever wants this, I guess. I bought the POTP figures but eventually sold them because they just weren't right for my collection.

Well that is disappointing. Given Takara's track record I expected better.

Already having Volcanicus makes this probably a pass. Nice to have the "extras", but as others have said, it is really a glorified add-on kit.

At $270-$300(Cdn) it probably won't be high demand for a lot of collectors, especially with the SS86 Dinobots waiting in the wings.

Man, that's a nice tampo/paint on Grimlock's legs - beats the hell out the POTP stickers

And red-face Slag is cool, helps to breakup the monotony of faces - didn't one of the KO Slags do red-face first? lol

But yeah, I spent too much already beefing up the POTP dinos - my Grimlock got the PE forearms & hips and everything - why go backwards?

It's another "would have been a good idea two years ago", maybe
