Combiner Wars G2 upgrade kits?
 

Hey all,

I have the Combiner Wars G2 Menasor and Bruticus, eventually will re-acquire Superion.

I've never bought 3P but a buddy showed me the KO upgrade to regular CW Menasor. I can't find KO versions for the G2 guys.

What is out there? CW Menasor G2 has the teal hands/feet. Superion needs blue. Bruticus just has black, so he's easy.

What should I expect to pay? What is out there besides Perfect Effect?

I tried looking a few months ago and barely any places have them in stock anymore, ebay, aliexpress, unless it's astronomical prices, even the crappy ko standard combiner wars ones were hard to find

Oh for sure.

I'm just wondering what upgrade kits exist. PE for sure. What other companies did them? Particularly G2?

I feel like ebay is not a good judge, people want obscene prices.. but that's ebay and not reality.

In person prices are not much better, granted they ARE better than eBay

@ recent Mississauga cons, the once or twice I seen people moving PE kits, usually 80-100 bucks now
Those were official tho, for what its worth

I bought a KO pair off a US seller not too long ago, for only about 40-50, but ofc that's a ymmv

Sorry bro, you're kind of out of luck now. Ebay had tons of these. The two main companies for the CW upgrade kits were Perfect Effect and Transform Dream Wave (TDW). Then they had the ko upgrade kits. Pretty much all these kits are sold out now or are grossly overpriced. They have this one on Ebay for Menasor:

Other than that, it's slim pickings.

The Perfect Effect Hand Feet kits, and the Superion and Mesasor (G1) add-ons sets were KO'ed, but those have long since been hard to get.

Stuff like KO's get one maybe two production runs, and then are gone.

those Menasor "torso head & mid-sword" (the equivalent of PC-04), when you see those ones but with no box? that's one of the "AMO" PC knockoffs

When CW was new there was a deluge of "Simple" KOs of the Bruticus-styled hands and feet from Perfect Effect.

I have the silver ones of those Simple KOs, but there's a pin in one of the fingers that's not recessed in properly. And the eBay seller who sold the hands/feet to me never got me a replacement hand.

Those times have long since passed, unfortunately.
