Hello customizers! I'm kind of new to this, but I like to jump right in. I'm sort of surprised these social groups don't get more use. I guess were not all that social.
I like the Incinerator with no allspark blue. He just needs some kick ass hands.

Thanks, the black paint to cover up the All-spark blue was a pretty simple repaint. Just used testors black paint, and takes about 2 days to do but I would wait 3 as the paint wasn't 100% dry on the bottom of the cockpit and when put into robot mode kinda got stuck so I had to pry it open :P
So paint as much as you can in a loose vehicle mode, wait a day (or even 2) and then do the robot mode. Other down side is the automorph on the cockpit is a little sticky now due to the paint texture but it still works with a little force. Course if you're like me and display in robot mode it really shouldn't make much difference.

Once I find some hands I can make interchangable with the props I'll be paint that blue, black for sure.
I picked up an airbrush today. I had a super cheap one from some auto supply store. If you could get the needle set right it worked ok, but there was no fine control. I needed abetter tool. I bought the Aztec A470. It is sooo sweet. Quickchange nozzle with no needle settings and a super fast cleanup. It's a plastic body thats very light. I was also surprised to find the hobby store price was resonable for the quality of airbrush.
Do most of you use an airbrush or do you stick mostly with a brush? I'm also looking for a clearcoat, anyone have any recomendations?

I guess I kinda count, given that I've done touchups on Animated figs.
Touched up my Swindle, Shockwave, Prime, Ratchet, Blackarachnia and many others courtesy of Gundam Markers.
And I'm looking at doing some ROTF customizing. I've already done a small amount, by replacing ROTF Bumblebee's lower body with that of the Premium from the first movie. Colors match closely enough, and you get all the Premium paint apps then.

Yes, I have like four customs on the go. Universe Jazz, Universe Kup, Universe Thundercracker and my endless Chromedome project(now nearly two years old).
I must find time to work on these soon.

I'm currently doing minor repaints to a Universe Cyclonus, having a hell of a time on disassembly though. I think I might have to modify my repainting plans slightly as a result.

I gotta buy paints so I can touch up my ROTF Optimus. He's so close to being perfect and I must do what I can to put him over the top.
